WEQMU CORP / LEGAL

DOCUMENT 01—PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Effective: March 31, 2026Last updated: September 4, 2026

This policy explains what personal information WEQMU CORP may collect, why it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to people who visit the website or communicate about graphic design services.

01

Scope and responsibility

WEQMU CORP provides graphic design services, including logo and visual identity design, social media graphics, marketing materials, and packaging design. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information handled through this website, project inquiries, proposals, service communications, and the administration of client relationships.

WEQMU CORP is responsible for deciding how personal information covered by this policy is used. The correspondence address is 127 N Higgins Ave Ste 307D #2655, Missoula, MT 59802. Privacy questions may be directed to projects@weqmucorp.com or +1 406 555 2164. These details are shown as plain text and are not interactive links.

This policy does not control the independent privacy practices of a hosting provider, payment provider, printer, courier, font marketplace, stock-asset marketplace, or another third party. Their services are governed by their own notices and agreements.

02

Information we may collect

Information provided directly

This may include a name, business or organization name, work email address, telephone number, billing address, project timing, budget range, service selection, project description, feedback, approvals, and other information included in correspondence.

Commercial and project information

This may include requested services, proposal history, agreed deliverables, invoices, payment status, revision instructions, production specifications, supplier details provided by the client, and records needed to administer a project.

Technical information

Depending on the Shopify theme, hosting configuration, and tools enabled by the store owner, the website may process an IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, approximate location derived from an IP address, page interactions, and security or error logs.

Content supplied for design work

Clients may provide logos, copy, photographs, product information, packaging measurements, brand guidelines, employee or customer images, testimonials, and other source materials. A client should provide only material it is authorized to use and should avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

03

How information is collected

Information may be collected when a person requests information, asks for a proposal, supplies a project brief, approves work, purchases services, pays an invoice, requests support, makes a complaint, or otherwise communicates with WEQMU CORP.

The project form delivered with this website package validates entries in the browser, displays a completion message, and intentionally does not transmit or store the submitted information. If the form is later connected to an email service, customer-management system, automation platform, database, or other endpoint, this policy and the form notice should be reviewed and updated before that connection is published.

Technical information may be created automatically by the web server, Shopify, fraud-prevention services, security tools, and any analytics or preference tools that the store owner elects to activate.

04

How information may be used

Personal information may be used to answer inquiries; assess whether a requested service is a suitable fit; prepare a proposal; confirm scope, fees, and timing; create and revise design work; obtain approvals; prepare final files; coordinate with a production supplier at the client’s request; issue and reconcile invoices; maintain business and tax records; manage complaints; enforce agreements; prevent misuse; and protect the website and business.

Contact information may also be used for service notices, changes to an active project, file-delivery instructions, payment administration, security communications, and legally required notices. Promotional communication should be sent only where permitted and may be stopped by contacting WEQMU CORP using the details at the end of this policy.

Information will not be used to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects unless the practice is disclosed and legally permitted.

05

Grounds for processing

Depending on the location of the individual and the law that applies, information may be processed because it is necessary to take requested pre-contract steps, perform a services agreement, comply with accounting or legal obligations, protect legal rights, prevent fraud or security incidents, or pursue legitimate business interests that are not overridden by the individual’s rights.

Where consent is required, consent may be withdrawn for future processing. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before withdrawal and does not require deletion of records that must be retained for legal, accounting, dispute, or security purposes.

06

Project files and client-supplied materials

Project files may contain information supplied by a client. WEQMU CORP uses that material to perform the agreed design services, prepare drafts, conduct quality checks, and create approved deliverables. Access should be limited to people and service providers who require it for the project.

Clients are responsible for giving appropriate notices and obtaining appropriate permissions before providing personal information about employees, customers, models, photographers, authors, or other individuals. Sensitive personal information should not be included unless it is genuinely necessary and the transfer has been agreed in advance.

Rejected concepts, working files, production proofs, and approval records may be retained for a reasonable period to document the project and resolve questions. The scope or proposal may define a different retention period or file-delivery arrangement.

07

Website data, cookies, and similar technologies

The site may use strictly necessary technologies for security, network routing, accessibility, saved theme preferences, and basic operation. The WEQMU theme toggle stores a light or dark preference in the visitor’s browser under the key “weqmu-theme.” That preference remains on the device until browser storage is cleared and is not used for advertising.

No advertising pixel, behavioral profiling script, or analytics platform is included in the supplied Custom Liquid sections. Shopify or an installed app may nevertheless use technologies required for platform operation. If analytics, advertising, chat, embedded media, or additional applications are enabled later, the Cookie Policy and any consent control should be updated before deployment.

Browser settings can be used to delete or block stored data. Blocking necessary technologies may affect operation or cause a preference to reset. More information appears in the separate Cookie Policy.

08

When information may be shared

Information may be disclosed to providers that support website hosting, cloud storage, business email, invoicing, payment processing, accounting, cybersecurity, file delivery, professional advice, print production, packaging production, or another service specifically needed for an engagement. Providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary for their role.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, subpoena, court order, or valid governmental request; when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, or misuse; to establish or defend legal claims; in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction; or with the individual’s direction or consent.

WEQMU CORP does not sell personal information for money. WEQMU CORP does not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising through the supplied website code. If future tools introduce a practice treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under an applicable state law, the required notice and choice mechanism should be added before that practice begins.

09

Retention and deletion

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including active project work, client support, warranty or complaint handling, accounting, tax, legal, insurance, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution requirements.

Retention periods differ by record. Unaccepted inquiries may be deleted sooner than signed proposals, invoices, approval records, or completed project files. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after ordinary deletion and then be overwritten through the backup cycle.

A deletion request may be declined or limited when information must be kept to complete an agreement, comply with law, establish or defend claims, protect security, prevent fraud, or preserve a record of a privacy request.

10

Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards should be used in proportion to the nature of the information and the service. Measures may include access controls, unique credentials, limited permissions, reputable hosting, software updates, secure file-transfer methods, backups, and the removal of data no longer required.

No website, email service, storage platform, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Individuals should avoid sending payment-card details, government identification, health information, passwords, or other highly sensitive material unless a secure and specifically approved method has been provided.

If a security incident is reasonably believed to create a legal notification duty, WEQMU CORP will take steps appropriate to the circumstances and applicable law.

11

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on applicable law and the individual’s location, a person may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about categories of data and recipients. A person may also have a right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. Not every right applies in every jurisdiction or to every record.

A request should identify the requester, the relevant relationship or project, the right being exercised, and enough information to locate the record. Identity may need to be verified. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority and the individual may be asked to confirm the request directly.

WEQMU CORP will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right. If a request is denied, the response may explain the reason and any available appeal procedure required by law.

Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” signals are not interpreted by the supplied site code because it contains no advertising or cross-context behavioral tracking. If qualifying tracking is added, signal handling should be reassessed.

12

Children’s privacy

The website and graphic design services are intended for business customers and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and WEQMU CORP does not knowingly request personal information from children. If information is believed to have been supplied by a child without appropriate authorization, contact WEQMU CORP so the circumstances can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.

13

International access and transfers

Website, email, cloud-storage, and production providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they or their subcontractors operate. Privacy rules may differ between countries. Where a transfer mechanism or contractual safeguard is legally required, an appropriate mechanism should be used.

By communicating with a United States business, an individual outside the United States understands that information may be processed in the United States subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.

14

Policy changes and contact

This policy may be revised when the website, service process, vendors, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes should be presented in a manner appropriate to their effect and, where required, additional notice or consent will be requested.

Questions, privacy requests, and concerns should be sent using the contact details below. Do not include passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
